Spring is often a major highlight of the season for skiers and snowboarders around the world. Goggle tans, soft snow, warm weather, après, funny outfits, soft bumps, and a bunch of fun activities make the spring one of the best times of the year to be on the mountain.
The biggest downside to the time of year, aside from the fact that it usually marks the end of the ski season, is the potential for rocky conditions that might damage your skis. Sometimes you find yourself skiing across some grass or you get a free base grind on some gravel. That’s why rock skis are so important this time of year.
Griffin Elsley and friends decided to take spring skiing to the next level, trading the snow completely for full blown dirt.
Hopefully their skis had already seen some serious damage before these guys decided to shred them to pieces. It’s hard to imagine that this gear would be very useful come the 2025/26 ski season.
