A dashboard mounted camera caught an incredible video U.S. Route 6 in Spanish Fork Canyon, Utah yesterday as a mudslide carrying an entire upright tree and root structure slid across the road.
Thankfully the driver alertly stopped in time to avoid the tree and UDOT reports no other vehicles were involved in the incident. The slide temporarily closed traffic in both directions as road crews worked to clear the debris.
As of 8:05am local time the highway is clear but the tree remains upright on the shoulder.
