power drill Simple Sledding Innovation.

Sledding is a ton of fun. Having to carry your sled back up the hill, not so much. I don’t have any kids, but I imagine having to walk down the hill to grab your kid’s sled and carry it back up so they don’t have to carry it isn’t all that fun either.

That’s why Bobbi W came up with this simple invention. By attaching the sled to a rope on a dowel, he can let his daughter sled down the hill while letting out the rope and use a drill to bring her back up the hill. Pretty genius way to make a simple chairlift for your kid.

The downside of course is that if the kid is too big, or if you want to give it a shot, you’re definitely out of luck. A small drill almost certainly couldn’t pull a full grown adult on a sled up a hill, but maybe if you’ve got one of those really high powered one.
