Colorado’s Monarch Mountain has some good news for skiers and snowboarders! An extra week has been added to the resort’s season, bringing their closing date from April 6 to Sunday, April 13.

Monarch sites exceptional snow conditions on the mountain for the extension. The mountain has seen 17 inches of new snow in the past 7 days and their base depth currently sits at 60 inches. In total, 194 inches of snow has fallen at Monarch Mountain this season, and more snow could be on its way this weekend.

The resort has 67 total trails, 59 of which are lift-served, making 800 total skiable acres. between 24-36% of the mountain is black diamond runs, while 8-12% are considered double black diamonds.

Lift tickets are available online for this weekend for as low as $119, and as low as $89 next weekend (if purchased online today). Closing weekend tickets are currently available online for just $39.
