Rather long lift line.
Rather long lift line.

There’s a reason I spend my day writing about skiing and snowboarding. I love it. There’s very little in this world that makes me as happy as being on snow. But there are a few things about the sport that I could still do without. Here’s a list of 10 of those things that I really just don’t like.

10 Things To Hate About Skiing

– Drunk skiers or snowboarders who think they own the mountain.

– Overpriced lodge food ($25 for two chicken tenders and a handful of fries?!).

– People who find anything to complain about (basically what I’m doing right now).

– Injuries (protect those knees).

– Lift bars that don’t have a foot rest (what’s the point?).

– Vehicles with inadequate traction for winter weather (especially when they crash and cause traffic).

– Flat light.

– Poorly made après cocktails (especially when they cost $20).

– Speaker skiers/snowboarders (ever heard of headphones?).

– People who don’t know how to fill a chairlift when it’s busy (it can’t be that hard to count to six, right?).

Don't miss out!
