Cheers to this skier in the Swiss Alps who had the presence of mind and quick reaction time to save his buddy’s ski before it slid down the depths of a tight couloir.

Hard to quantify the probability of pulling this off successfully, but lets just say it was incredibly lucky. If this ski had slipped by it not only would have likely been lost forever but his buddy would have had a hell of time getting down.

Turns out quick reflexes out on the mountain are useful in more ways than one.
