Powder skiing in Georgia.
Powder skiing in Georgia.

The WhiteHearts freeride crew captured this sweet footage of some of the coolest powder turns we’ve ever seen while skiing in the Caucasus Mountains in Georgia with Power Project Cat Skiing.

Georgia doesn’t seem to be on the front of everyone’s mind when it comes to gnarly skiing and snowboarding but there’s certainly been a growth in coverage surrounding the Eastern European/West Asian country. Powder Project operates out of a lodge in Bakhmaro, in addition the Wolfsbett Hut and the project X remote freeride area.

It seems pretty rare that you’d get a group together with fresh enough snow and good enough skiers to manage this sweet shot, but we’re glad to see WhiteHearts and crew make it happen.
