Deep Robotics, officially known as Hangzhou Yunshenchu Technology Company, went viral in mid-November 2024 for a demonstration video of their embodied AI equipped quadruped robot technology and they just posted a followup video, this time on the slopes of a Chinese ski resort.
The startup’s robot has already been tasked across China including fire detection, power station inspections, and emergency rescue and apparently if you use spiked tires it is quite capable on snow. This is wild.
