Loving this 4-year-old kid in Wyoming named Jack who strapped on his mohawk helmet and pointed his tiny skis down his own personal “Mini-Corbet’s Couloir.” It might have only been a snow bank in his front yard, but when you’re too short to ride a rollercoaster, a ten-foot drop in is big time.
Just like skiers and snowboarders who challenge themselves at the real Corbet’s Couloir, Jack spent some time on the edge questioning his decision before ultimately pointing his little skis downhill and sending it. Every year Jackson Hole names a King and Queen of Corbet’s and we think they should add a prince and princess. Way to go Jack!
ABOUT THE REAL CORBET’S COULOIR:
Jackson Hole offers diverse terrain for skiers and snowboarders of all levels, but no discussion of this iconic destination would be complete without mentioning Corbet’s Couloir. With a 20-foot drop and 50-degree pitch, it’s one of the steepest ski slopes in North America. Known as one of the craziest ski resorts, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort brings skiers from around the world to test their limits on this legendary terrain. The Aerial Tram cruises right by Corbet’s on its way to the top, offering skiers/riders a glimpse of the famed couloir. And if you’re hungry for waffles, check out the famous Corbet’s Cabin.

Kings & Queens of Corbet’s:
Kings & Queens of Corbet’s is a competition that showcases the absolute best in skiing and snowboarding, the awe-inspiring venue that is Corbet’s Couloir and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. In its 6 years, the event has progressed further than we could have imagined.
