Skiers told to grow up for going too fast.
Skiers told to grow up for going too fast.

Everyone has different levels of comfort while on the slopes. Some of us might be okay with getting fairly close to others, some of us might be absolutely terrified of the concept. Some of us might like going ridiculously fast, some of us might rather go a bit slower. Whatever the case, you should make sure random people on the mountain are given plenty of space when possible, and remember that the uphill skier is at fault in the event of a crash.

Skier and Warner Nickerson was in Val d’Isere, filming himself going wicked fast when he managed to piss off a group of British skiers. Apparently he came to close to one of the skiers, and was told to “grow up” as a reaction.

That guy chasing us there was pretty upset.

Who knows how close Nickerson actually got. While the dude came off a bit harsh, it’s hard not to see where he’s coming from, especially if Nickerson actually got within a few feet. You don’t really know how good other people on the mountain are, so give them lots of space at all times.
