$99 season pass @ Mount Bohemia
$99 season pass @ Mount Bohemia

Like a hotdog from Costco, season passes to Mount Bohemia continue to act as an image of affordability in an industry that grows more and more expensive every year. While most ski area season passes are well above $1,000, the Michigan resort has offered a $99 season pass since 2003, putting it well among the lowest priced passes in North America.

Mount Bohemia is a throwback to 1960’s European resorts, lots of great terrain and a really fun apres ski scene at its slopeside Nordic spa. Bohemia has the highest vertical in the Midwest and over 620 acres of skiable terrain with 2 chairlifts. The snowfall and the expansive terrain is what really separates Bohemia from other places in the Midwest. Getting close to 300 inches of snow to blanket its enormous glade system (over 75% of terrain is in the trees). This is why skiers make the pilgrimage to Bohemia each year. 100% ungroomed, deep snow, endless tree runs, steep cliff bands and a slopeside Nordic spa make Bohemia a truly special place.

The season pass sale will be available between November 27th and December 7th of this year, providing several incredibly affordable season pass options for those hoping to hit the Upper Peninsula ski area. The $99 season pass is good for winter 2024/25, providing access to the slopes every day except Saturday. For just $10 more, the $109 season pass is completely blackout free. Also all season passes include year round access to Bohemia’s legendary Nordic spa facilities.

Mount Bohemia day tickets cost $95, so a season pass pays for itself in just two uses. They don’t sell Saturday day tickets, either. If you’re hoping to hit the slopes on Saturday, you’re going to need a season pass.

Their season passes come with up to 43 days of free skiing at partner resorts across the United States, including Bogus Basin in Idaho and White Pine in Wyoming. Plus, American Bohemia passholders get unlimited access to Quebec’s Mont Edouard all season long. Yes that is correct, if you are an American you get two places all season long (Mount Bohemia and Mont Eduord) for only $99.

During the sale period you’ll also have the option to purchase a $175 two year season pass ($87.50 a season!) that rolls over if it goes unused for a season and a $1,399 lifetime pass that’s valid for 75 seasons for the person who purchases it (no transfers, no refunds). No, that’s not a joke. That’s a lifetime season pass for cheaper than many single season passes.

Mount Bohemia keeps things wildly cheap by reducing overhead costs as much as possible. There is no grooming and there is no snowmaking at the resort. The average annual 270″ of snow that lands on the mountain is all natural. Plus, Bohemia has no accounting department, sending payroll processing out to a third party. The owner literally pays his bills through an app on his phone.

To be clear, these incredibly well priced season passes are only available between November 27th and December 7th, so be ready to act quickly when the time comes. There are very few ski related deals in North America quite like this one. Buy your season pass HERE.
