McCall, Idaho Brundage Mountain is opening early, and it will have a brand new lodge to boot.

Yesterday, Brundage Mountain Resort announced that it will open for the 2024-25 season on November 22nd. This November opening marks Brundage’s earliest opening since 2005. Thanks to recent snowfall, Brundage already has a 25-inch base at the base area and 35 inches at Lakeview. They plan to operate the Bluebird Express, Bear, and Easy Street chairlifts for opening weekend, with more lifts and terrain opening as conditions allow. From Friday onwards, they’ll be open for daily operations.

Lift tickets are very affordable for this weekend. Day tickets only cost $48 for adults, $33 for seniors and teens, and $23 for juniors if you purchase online.

“We’ve got crews clearing snow from the parking lots and walkways, lifties prepping the lift mazes and ramps, patrollers heading up the mountain to install rope lines and signage, and of course our grooming team packing and smoothing the slopes. They are getting after it and getting it done,” said Ken Rider, who’s the General Manager of Brundage Mountain.

The marquee addition for the 2024-25 season is the opening of the MTN Adventure Center (MAC). This new 18,000-square-foot base lodge features various amenities for skiers and riders. The main floor includes a ticket office, guest services desk, the MTN Sports School, daycare, a rental and demo gear shop, the Brundage retail shop, a cafe, and bathrooms. The bottom floor is home to day and private seasonal lockers and a state-of-the-art tune shop. Outside, there’s a drop-off loop around the lodge for guests driving into the ski resort. Click here for more information about the MAC. Here’s hoping they sell MAC & cheese at the cafe.

With the new lodge, plus the addition of the Centennial Express last winter, Brundage is worth considering for your next Idaho ski trip.
