EDEN, Utah – Powder Mountain has been putting in some major upgrades heading into the 2024/25 ski season, including a new chairlift on Lightning Ridge. But the resort’s biggest change won’t come around until the middle of the winter. This February weekends at Powder Mountain will be limited to pass holders only, with no day tickets available on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the month.
“When we say ‘Escape the Masses,’ we mean it. This new offering is about preserving the core value of the Powder experience, providing passholders with unique access to the mountain on the very best days. Our team continues to look at novel ways of creating exceptional value for our passholders. We started by investing heavily in our public lift infrastructure, and now we’re ensuring the experience on those new lifts is exactly what our passholders have come to expect: lap after lap of incredible skiing, while other resorts are ants-on-a-sugar-cube on those weekends.” – Reed Hastings
Day tickets will continue to be available on weekdays throughout February, but not for February 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22 and 23rd. Weekends throughout the rest of the season will also still be available to day pass users. February weekends will still have night skiing available to the public, costing $19 for an evening. Ski Utah Passport Redemptions & Ogden Valley Adaptive Sports Lessons will continue as normal as well.
Powder Mountain is introducing a new public lift and two upgraded public lifts this upcoming season, in addition to two new public terrain parks and art instillations around the area. Powder Mountain already offers private skiing through Powder Haven, limited to specific homeowners.
