For KÜHL‘s YouTube show “THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED”, they chatted with those engulfed in the aviation of Alaska. Close friends Joe McAneney and Andrew Esola work together to photograph and document the high unnamed peaks of the northern-most state in the United States, following in the footsteps of pioneers Don Sheldon and Brad Washburn.
“Maneuvering with precision, they position their single-engine Cessna to capture the breathtaking beauty of Denali, the highest peak in North America. Both McAneney and Esola work for K2 aviation, a flightseeing & glacier landing tour company. They’ve got multiple tours, including one that follows the action of the Iditarod and multiple based around Denali, the tallest mountain in North America. They’re full flight schedule is available here.
