Hundreds of people in the Pacific Northwest reported seeing a fairly large fireball meteor streaking through the sky around 5:45am on Tuesday, September 24. Reports reached from Seattle to San Francisco and as far west as Idaho.
While you probably weren’t able to see this in person, a whole load of traffic cameras throughout Seattle captured the incident on video. SeattleTrafficCams compiled the clips and shared them to YouTube, so we can easily watch it now.
I can picture loads of people showing up to their early morning jobs still nearly asleep but fully awestruck by the sight they just saw.
