Dawid Godziek backflips his bike on a moving train.

POLAND – You know, sometimes Red Bull posts a video that makes everyone ask, “was that really necessary?” In this case, it’s 2024 Slopestyle World Champion Dawid Godziek biking along a park built on an actively moving train. He doesn’t just bike along it though, he sends a bunch of nutty tricks, including a flat drop backflip. On a moving train. Red Bull just keeps one upping themselves, don’t they?

Not content with being the first person to ride a bike on a moving train and jump between carriages, Dawid Godziek wanted to throw down some world first mountain bike tricks as well. With his brother Szymon he built a special MTB course on top of 10 freight trucks and tested it out before hitching the carriages to a moving locomotive.”

The video angle itself is wicked cool through this video. The way the platform is moving while Dawid stays nearly in the same position makes it feel like this is straight out of a platformer video game. Put a little 8-bit soundtrack over this and I’ll feel like I’m playing some classic mountain bike video game.
