WHISTLER, British Columbia – Whistler Blackcomb really is a beast of its own. Being the largest ski resort in North America, little really compares to its enormity. You feel as though you’re passing through multiple climates just riding the lift to the top, and the Peak 2 Peak is an experience unlike any other. Plus, the main village is incredible. So it’s no surprise that European ski instructor Marius Quast had a killer time checking it out on his trip to North America.

Finally the time has come: On our big ski trip through the USA and Canada we have arrived in one of the areas we long for: Whistler Blackcomb, the largest ski area in Canada. There are 200km of runs in the Eldorado for skiers in the Rocky Mountains in British Columbia (BC). We had already been to the ski resorts Sunshine Village in Alberta and Lake Louise near Banff – but Whistler is particularly a well-known and large ski resort in Canada.

Over 200 slopes with varied terrain are waiting for you to conquer. From snow-capped peaks to snowy forests, this ski resort has it all for mountain lovers. The Peak 2 Peak gondola connects Blackcomb and Whistler Mountain, while the Symphony Express takes you to special deep snow slopes on Whistler Mountain. After skiing, car-free shopping streets and lively après-ski await you in the Village.
