Crested Butte, Colorado — It’s no secret that Crested Butte Mountain Resort is home to some of the toughest in-bounds terrain in the country. Rambo tends to get most of the headlines for its signs and thin cover, but they’re many extreme runs at the Butte.

One such example is the Body Bag. This extremely steep run is full of huge rocks, tight chutes, and cliffs. To get through this run, you’ll need to have the ability to do jump turns, quick movement, slide slipping, and stomping a landing from some cliffs. Most of the run is very steep, but it concludes with a fifteen foot cliff band.

YouTuber Colorado Camera has built up an impressive channel by taking on some of the toughest terrain in Colorado. So it’s telling when even him is shook by the challenge of Body Bag. In the middle of the battle, he utters out: “This is scary.”

He makes a lot of quality turns to get through most of the run, but the inability to stomp the landing from a mandatory cliff jump is what made him lose this round. It is still a quality effort, nonetheless.
