World renown skydiver Freddy Fugen has 20 years in the flying world in airplanes paragliding wings, ultralights, hang gliders, wingsuits but his childhood dream to soar like Aladdin has always be that, just a dream. One year ago Freddy set out on a mission to invent a low-tech minimal base jumping solutions that relied solely on the rigidity of his tensed body to maintain their form and had not inflatable components. He calls the project Aladdin Skylab and if you are Disney fan you going to love this:
“Welcome on board on the real magic carpet of the real Aladdin. What could be the point of view of Jasmine or Abu the monkey. A life dedicated to chasing some of the human dreams for flying and levitating, either with drums and ropes, or flying machines. After a one year process of testing base jumping with many different minimal suits and clothes and dresses, it’s been another few months of test and tries and shaping, to manage to domesticate and ride this fury carpet. After a good 40 training jumps, this one is the masterpiece with this rug.” -Freddy Fugen
