Very timely social media post from the folks at Gloucester Ski & Snowboard Centre in the UK who put their manager, Cameron Singer, in a suit and took his advantage of his doppleganger status to ex-manager of the England men’s side, Gareth Southgate. The video the ski centre posted is obviously meant to be funny but its been a tough day for the real Gareth Southgate who has stepped down from his role as manager following a heartbreaking defeat by Spain at the Euro 2024 final in Berlin:
“As a proud Englishman, it has been the honor of my life to play for England and to manage England. It has meant everything to me, and I have given it my all but it’s time for change, and for a new chapter. Sunday’s final in Berlin against Spain was my final game as England manager.” -Gareth Southgate
