Banana George's last barefoot waterski.

Banana George was a waterskiing legend, spending 5 ⅓ decades of his life barefoot waterskiing around the world, all while exploring every other extreme sport he encountered (including snowboarding in Steamboat). He passed in 2013 at the age of 98, but his skiing continued into his 90s. This clips shows his final waterski ride at 93-years-old.

93-year-old Banana George lived for barefoot waterskiing. Nothing would stop him from getting on the water, not even 6 back surgeries or a battle with pneumonia. This is the only video documenting Banana’s final time barefoot water skiing, a life lesson in resilience and passion that lives on years later. Banana George passed away in October of 2013 at the age of 98.
