Telemark sand skiing – because if there’s one thing we need in this world, it’s year-round telemark skiing (LAME). In all seriousness, I can’t imagine the leg strength needed to drop a knee on sand.
This video is a part of Henrik May’s operations, who’s been dune skiing in Namibia and other countries for a long time. Sadly his website doesn’t appear to have been updated in quite a while, so it’s hard to tell whether or not he’s still at it, but there’s always a chance. He’s done downhill skiing, telemark skiing, and cross country skiing in the dunes. Pretty wild.
