This uninhabited property is just 20 miles west of the Denver Metro Area, just a bit northwest of I-70 and around eight road miles off Fall River Road. Located on Kingston Peak, just a bit south of St. Mary’s Glacier, the land gets around 181 inches of snowfall a year.

The resort, Ski Saint Mary’s Glacier, ran from the 1930s to 1986. Three lifts, one T-bar, two rope tows made up the areas uphill capabilities, and a ski rental shop and a few small cabins made up a majority of the physical buildings. What happens to the abandoned area is up to the new owner, whether they attempt to revive it or do something else.

The property has been available for purchase for a decent while now, listen by Sotheby’s International Reality. The official address is 8821 Fall River Road in Idaho Springs. You can learn more about the property through this link.
