WINTER PARK, Colorado – Winter Park Resort in Colorado officially reached 400 inches of snowfall through this past weekend’s storm. The last time the area reached the milestone while the resort remained open was 21 years ago, making this their deepest ski season since 2003.

Winter Park is one of two resorts that remain open in Colorado, with both them and Arapahoe Basin planning to remain open as late as possible. Winter Park received just an inch of snowfall throughout the past three days, but a total of 11 inches over the past week, while Arapahoe Basin recorded a healthy 10 inches in the past 48 hours alone.

Winter Park is still running six of 24 lifts across the mountain, with 72 trails still open to skiers and riders (mostly in the Mary Jane and Parsenn Bowl areas of the mountain). Arapahoe Basin is running 8 of 9 lifts with 98 open runs across the ski area (including East Wall skiing!).
