Check out this project commissioned by a Colorado homeowner for a coffee table constructed from sawed off skis encased in epoxy. The $10,000 table might not have been a labor of love for woodworker Cam Anderson from Blacktail Studio out of Portland, Oregon but the final product is pretty slick:
