It’s been another great winter for the Utah ski industry. While mountains haven’t come close to the record-breaking totals from last winter, this season has been pretty solid. Alta is nearing 600 inches of snowfall, and Snowbird just surpassed 500 inches.
Unfortunately, with March almost over, many ski resorts in the state will close soon. However, a few will be open for skiing and riding into May.
Here are the projected closing dates for ski resorts in Utah…
- Alta – April 21, 2024
- Beaver Mountain – April 7, 2024
- Brian Head – May 5, 2024
- Brighton – May 19th. According to the Salt Lake Tribune, Brighton will have daily operations until April 28th. It will reopen from May 3 to 19 and offer $35 tickets.
- Cherry Peak – April 7, 2024
- Deer Valley Resort – April 21, 2024
- Eagle Point – April 7, 2024
- Nordic Valley – Closed for the season.
- Park City Mountain – April 22, 2024
- Powder Mountain – April 7, 2024
- Snowbasin – April 28, 2024
- Snowbird – At least until Memorial Day
- Solitude – Open daily until at least May 12, conditions permitting. Official closing date to be announced.
- Sundance – April 7, 2024
- Woodward Park City – Their jib park will shut down on April 28th, while the Hot Laps chairlift will close on April 14th.
