Little Cottonwood Canyon, Utah- This week, Snowbird Resort announced its season pass lineup for the 2023-24 season. If an adult purchases a Summit Pass, their kid (whether directly or indirectly related) can get a free season pass. For renewing season passholders, a new perk is a $50 discount on the Summit Pass. In addition, if you purchase a pass by June 5th, you’ll earn a free night at the Cliff Lodge.

Another notable part of the announcement is that Snowbird intends to keep free, first-come, first-serve parking for next season despite Alta’s pleas to change to a reservation system.

Snowbird season passes will go on sale on April 10th, and Alta-Bird pass details will be announced in late April. For more information, see Snowbird’s press release below.

SNOWBIRD TO OFFER THE MOST ROBUST PASSHOLDER BENEFIT PROGRAM IN UTAH FOR THE 2024-25 SEASON, INCLUDING A FREE YOUTH SEASON PASS

Every Adult Summit Pass Will Come with a Free Kids Freeloader Pass for the 2024-25 Season While Offering a Passholder Renewal Discount and More.

Snowbird, Utah, March 20, 2024 – Ahead of its spring season—lasting through at least Memorial Day, conditions permitting—Snowbird has announced details for its 2024-25 season pass line up. New for the upcoming season, renewing 2023-24 Snowbird passholders will receive a $50 discount on the purchase of a 2024-25 Summit Pass. Additionally, anyone who purchases a qualifying 2024-25 Summit or Alta-Bird Pass prior to June 5 will earn Early Bird Benefits, including a free night at The Cliff Lodge. New Snowbird passholders will be able to utilize their 2024-25 season pass from when they go on sale April 10 through the remainder of the 2023-24 season.

Along with its new renewal discount and expanded benefits program, Snowbird is excited to announce the continuation of its Kids Freeloader Pass. This one-of-a-kind program provides one free, unlimited youth Snowbird season pass when linked to the purchase of a 2024-25 Adult, Military or Senior Summit Pass. This program is unique in that no direct relation is needed between the passholders, and youth up to age 18 are eligible to participate.

“There is no other mountain in the state where communities can pool together to provide free access to skiing and riding for youth through age 18 like what we are doing with our Kids Freeloader Pass program,” said Snowbird President and General Manager Dave Fields. “This is in addition to our new $50 renewal discount for our loyal season passholders—a vital community that is essential to the spirit of Snowbird both now and in the years to come.”

Snowbird Summit, Flex-5 and Preferred Parking Passes will go on sale April 10, 2024. Passholders can once again take advantage of an interest-free payment plan for just $71 down, with payments distributed over the remaining months. Those looking to purchase an Alta-Bird Pass—expected to go on sale in early May—can purchase a Summit Pass for access to spring skiing at Snowbird and upgrade to an Alta-Bird Pass when they go on sale. Both passes will be eligible for an Ikon Base Pass Add-On Benefit.

Snowbird is proud to offer the most robust passholder benefits of any Utah resort and is expanding those offerings this season with the introduction of Early Bird Benefits. These include one free night at The Cliff Lodge, two All-Day Activity Passes for Summer 2024 and 50% off two Fast Tracks upgrades to those who purchase a qualifying 2024-25 Summit or Alta-Bird Pass before June 5. Even past this deadline, qualifying Snowbird passholders still receive benefits including a free Kids Freeloader Pass for anyone 18 and under, free Summer Scenic Tram Rides, discounts on Woodward Camps, lessons, rentals, retail and more.

For the 2024-25 winter season, Snowbird will continue to offer a hybrid approach to parking with most of its lots remaining free to its guests on a first-come, first-served basis. Those looking to make a reservation may do so ahead of time, paying for a spot in one of the mountain’s preferred lots.
