Loveland Ski Area in Colorado had to think outside of the box when it came to putting a roof over the heads of their employees and found a creative way to provide affordable housing by using hotels in Idaho Springs. The hotels have been converted for the season with dorm style living quarters and commercial kitchens. The housing situation is admittedly a stopgap while Loveland explores more permanent options but it seems to be working for now.
