WHISTLER, Canada – Whistler Blackcomb Ski Resort has shared the news of the tragic death of a 32-year-old woman from Vancouver on its slopes last weekend. According to the resort’s statement, the woman lost contact with her partner on Saturday. Upon being notified by the partner, ski patrol was dispatched and discovered the woman unresponsive on the Renegade trail, an area designated for advanced skiers. The resort has yet to provide further information. Whistler Blackcomb’s COO, Belinda Trembath, expressed in the statement that the resort extends its “deepest condolences” to the bereaved family and friends of the woman.
