Heads up to anyone looking get some fresh turns this weekend as winter storms are headed for Mammoth Mountain in California. Here’s the latest weather report as of 7a.m. today:

“Winds will gradually pick up as the day progresses with an increase in clouds as the next storm begins to move into the area. Follow the wind today and you will score some classic Mammoth wind buff and find some fun pockets of fluff. Forecasts are calling for a large winter storm tomorrow – Sunday with FEET of snow possible, high winds and low visibility. Travel to the area may be impacted, please be prepared if planning to travel this is shaping up to be a snowy start to March.”

It’s looking like March is going to pick up right where February is leaving off for Mammoth. Be careful on the roads and bust out them pow skis, this weekend is looking choice. Hell yeah!
