Whistler, British Columbia- Back in 1987, Whistler and Blackcomb were two separate ski resorts. The two ski resorts didn’t merge until 1997, so they were technically competitors for a while. As a way to differentiate itself from its next-door neighbor, Blackcomb created a very catchy jingle.

This vintage commercial from Blackcomb has a bit of everything: Jumpsuits, thin skis, hot dogs, fixed-grip chairlifts, and a jingle that makes you want to time travel. The jingle is almost as good as Wahhh Wa Wachusett. They don’t make commercials like this anymore… BLACKCOMB!
