“My collision friend dislocated his shoulder but handled it like a man by slamming it back into place against the tree nearby.”

The onus for this ski resort collision is pretty cut and clear but it’s good to let folks come to their own conclusions for the sake of education. The first two rules of the Skier Responsibility Code come into play here:

  1.  Always stay in control. You must be able to stop or avoid people or objects.
  2.  People ahead or downhill of you have the right-of-way. You must avoid them.

Watch the video and let us know who you think is at fault. In this case the snowboarders were friends and the injured party simply put his dislocated shoulder back in by himself against a tree Lethal Weapon II style…gnarly. Be safe out there and follow the code!
