“This year was full of highs and lows. It was a winter to remember!” –Kai Jones

The opening clip from 16-year-old Kai Jones’ segment from the new TGR project is every skiers worst nightmare….greasing a beautiful line when all of a sudden things go sideways and you end up on a backboard getting taken swept away by a helicopter. On March 7th, Kai broke both his tibia tubercles upon landing a cliff he had jumped a number of times before in the backcountry of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Kai’s recovery is going well and he’ll be back on the slopes in December. Hell yeah dude. Check out his season edit filmed leading up to that nasty slam that includes a 1000 foot straight line down a couloir that he considers the “hands down the CRAZIEST line of my life.” Incredible skiing, incredible skier. Can’t wait to see this kid back ripping:
