Cheers to The Remarkables Ski Resort in New Zealand for this classy sendoff video for one of their longest running pieces of machinery. Shadow Basin Chairlift has been in operation for since 1985 and provided untold joy for generations of skiers and snowboarders. One of the guys who originally installed Shadow Basin is still working for the resort and knows removing the towers is going to be a challenge because they are filled with concrete (dope that dude is working).
