PRIMED FOR WINTER, ATOMIC PRESENTS NEW FREESKI FILM SERIES – THE BENT FAMILY CHRONICLES

Atomic Freeski Team Embarks on Journey to Bring all Styles of Freeride and Freestyle Together

Exposing Everything That’s Possible on a Pair of Bents

Taking advantage of a winter marked by record snowfall, last season Atomic gathered its full crew of freeski athletes and hit the mountains to test the limits of the Bent family.  A global tour that took skiers to the best spots in the world, from the terrain parks of Mammoth, California, to the deep powder faces of British Columbia’s Baldface Valhalla, and all the way to the freestyle mecca of Laax, Switzerland, the mission was simple: to push the boundaries of what’s possible on a pair of Bents.

Documenting all the finest moments of this freeski-fueled adventure, Atomic proudly presents its latest short film series: The Bent Family Chronicles. A six-episode mini-series, The Bent Chronicles follows the team as they come together and unite every style of freeskiing. Framed by deep powder, huge cliff drops, impressive tricks and alluring mountain scenery, each video is a celebration of skiing culture and a tribute to the passion of a community that supports and encourages each other to ski their best.

Tagalong with freeride skiers Chris Benchetler, Amie Engerbretson, Kai Jones, Emily Childs, Nick McNutt, Arianna Tricomi, Tim Durtschi, Janelle Yip, and Tonje Kvivik as they buddy up in the powder heaven of British Columbia to take the Bent Chetler 120s and Bent 110s on a cat skiing adventure fueled by deep powder, big airs, laughter, high fives, and blue skies.

Tune in to see freestyle skiers Jossi Wells, Bobby Brown, Dennis Ranalter, and Nicky Keefer take advantage of Utah’s legendary snowfall that filled in seldom skied lines and presented rare opportunities for new air. Armed with the new Bent 100 and equipped to take on the entire mountain, each skier brings their one-of-a-kind freestyle vision to the powder, the park, and the piste.

Whether it’s surfing the deepest powder, slashing crazy steep pillow lines, or stomping impossible landings in the park, every ski in the Bent family unites the spirit of freeskiing with those skiers destined to leave their own mark on the mountain. Deeply entrenched in all elements of freeski, every Bent is built with the sole purpose of connecting the imagination and creativity to the mountain. Highly versatile, endlessly playful, and forever in a state of celebration, the uniqueness and diversity of each ski in the family brings the future of freeskiing into the present moment.

Atomic invites you to join in the excitement of The Bent Family Chronicles and follow the Atomic Team on a mission to bring together every style of skiing – from Freeride to Freestyle.
