
Another ski area will be making a comeback. This week, Norway Mountain in Michigan announced that they are aiming to reopen during the 2024-25 season. The ski area has been closed since the conclusion of the 2016-17 season. Their official video announcement and statement are below.
โHi everyone we have amazing news. Norway Mountain is back. We will be reopening for the 2024-2025 season. We are going to take the next year and bring Norway back to the glory days. With skiing’s popularity on the rise since the pandemic, many ski areas have reopened after a hiatus. In the Midwest, Steeplechase in Minnesota is one example, which reopened last winter. Now, it seems like Norway will seem to join them on the comeback train.
