Intense footage from California’s Whitewater Canyon of a destructive flash flood triggered by Tropical Storm Hilary. Within moments torrents of murky water tore through the burn scarred area carrying massive chunks of debris while whipping up deadly standing waves. This flash flood shut down Interstate 10 and flooded homes near Palm Springs. The incredible video was taken by filmed by Reed Timmer PhD who identifies as an extreme meteorologist, inventor and storm chaser. Nice work Dr. Timmer, this is wild!
