If you’ve wondered what it’s like to groom snow in the middle of a powder storm, you’ve come to the right place. On Sunday, Worrell Specialty shared a video of him grooming the new snow at Hogadon Basin Ski Area on January 12-13th, 2023. His YouTube page is full of cool videos, which include him restoring a 1974 Thiokol 2100 B Snowcat.

Hogadon Basin is full of unique features. The upside-down ski area is located in Casper, which is the second-largest city in Wyoming. It’s seen some nice additions in recent years, including a new summit lodge and lights for night skiing.

A breakdown of his route and the video are down below.

“Mountain Trail Grooming Hogadon Basin Ski Area, City of Casper, – Casper Wyoming, using PistenBully 400 Snowcat.

Grooming road to pond and snow-making pump house using and starting with an outside loop from pump house completely around the mountain.

Head up Park Ave. to Morning Dew then groom the road to Lost Trail, back up Morning Dew then turnaround and head back down Park Ave. to Prospector Chair lift load area.

Next on to Tunnel on skier right to Holiday skier right up to shop then down skier left on Holiday to the bottom of Boomerang then up Boomerang skier right to Dickies Delight skier right back to shop then head to skiers left on the Terrain Park back to Boomerang. Then going up again on Boomerang skier right to top of mountain.

After making it to top of mountain head right down Boomerang skier left all the way to the Tunnel heading for the Prospector Lift and bottom of Dreadnaught, then back to the top of the mountain via. Dreadnaught skier right all the way to the top then head back down Dreadnaught skier left to load area / Parak Ave. starting all over again heading up Park Ave. on skier right to the top of the mountain.
