A couple of weeks ago we featured a video discussing the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center in West Yellowstone, a center known for its testing of “bear resistant” products to determine exactly how bear resistant they are. If you haven’t seen that, go give it a watch here. It’s absolutely worth it.

Thankfully, creator Tom Scott has given us even more footage of the grizzly bears. It’s not as educational as the last video, but it’s certainly incredibly entertaining. I don’t know, bears are just fun to watch.

First of all, the footage of the bear trying to get into the garbage can might as well be pulled straight out of my nightmares. The movement, the shadows, and, finally, the claw reaching in, is definitely enough to raise the hair on the back of my neck. Beyond that, the video is just cute. Obviously bears are not friends, but they’re friend shaped, so watching them play with the GoPro rocks.

Also, that first bear’s intelligence to know where he left the GoPro in the water a couple of hours prior is pretty awesome. Obviously they didn’t know they were playing with a camera, and they didn’t know how to start or stop the footage, but the fact that they were some how able to push the shutter button and take a couple more minutes of footage is pretty crazy.
