Every professional athlete makes their fair share of rookie mistakes. In a recent video from FIS Alpine, they asked pro skiers on the circuit what the worst mistake they made in the first year they compete on the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup Tour.

Some of the mistakes in the video below include not hearing about the start gate being moved, resulting in skiing through stones, not knowing which skis to choose, and only bringing one pair of skis on an extremely icy day, which resulted in those skis being severely damaged.

The World Cup circuit is set to begin on October 28th for the woman, and October 29th for the men.
