Deer Valley’s mountain operations team have had their work cut out for them tunneling through the leftovers from an epic winter’s snow accumulations. Crews at the top of Bald Mountain have been chipping away at the substantial snowpack using machines but at a certain point shoveling by hand is required to preserve the integrity of the trails.  Its been a monumental task but by the time their done they will conveniently be equipped with beach muscles as summer officially starts.

DEER VALLEY MOUNTAIN BIKE UPDATE:

Opening Day Update: In addition to opening all the hiking and biking trails on Bald Eagle (Lower Mountain), our Mountain Operations team will open additional trails on Bald Mountain tomorrow, Friday, June 23.
Fully Open: Tsunami, Twist and Shout, and Naildriver
Closed: Tidal Wave and Deep Camp
Partially Open: All remaining trails
Bald Mountain’s hiking-only trails will also be open including Silver Lake and Ontario. Early season conditions exist, please be prepared for snow coverage in areas.
To kick off opening weekend, we also have an exclusive offer for bikers! Those purchasing a biking day lift ticket will also receive a one-time $15 food credit to be used on the same day at Royal Street Café, Royal Street Express or The Deer Valley Café. (Valid Friday, June 23 through Sunday, June 25, 2023, alcohol not included.)
