You know onewheels, those kind of moped/skateboard hybrid electric boards? Maybe you have no idea what I’m talking about, maybe have one of your own and absolutely love it, or maybe you’re like me, having seen them around and thought “those look pretty fun” but never actually tried one out yourself. I’ve always seen them as a bit of a novelty item, but I guess I’ve always been a bit wrong.
They actually just hosted their first Riders Summit, and people are already doing some pretty insane freestyle tricks on these guys. Is a backside noseslide the craziest skateboard trick out there? No. But it seems pretty darn hard on a onewheel. Also, if people are already ripping tricks with the sport being so new (the onewheel came out in 2015), we might be seeing some pretty absurd stuff on these in just a few years.
