Sometimes when you accomplish something incredibly athletically difficult, the feelings just well up and can be contained. Stoicism is strong in the climbing community but not always. It’s okay if you get emotional watching Margo Hayes’ tears of joy after climbing the first confirmed 9a+/5.15a route climbed by a woman in Siurana, Spain back in 2017 at just 19 years old. Still gets me every time. Such a dope moment:
