“We call it skier-tainment.” -Lemon Lodge Ski Bar Owner Melanie Hexter

Ski season is winding down across the country but its heating up for new business in downtown Colorado Springs. Lemon Lodge Ski Bar will be opening in June and patrons will have the chance to enjoy food and  beverages like Skier Pee (adult lemonade) while taking a spin on their Olympic-caliber ski/snowboard simulator in an experience described as “skier-tainment.”

“It’s providing something for everybody.Think about all the people that have moved here and the tourists. We love that we’re on the front edge of that, and we envision people from Castle Rock or Denver driving down for the day to take advantage of what we have.” –Melanie Hexter

Lemon Lodge will be staffed with instructors available for every simulation session. The sim has multiple settings to accommodate a variety of levels, courses, and terrain. Sounds like fun way to spend an afternoon filling up on tasty bevs and food while honing your skills:

“Lemon Lodge Ski Bar creates ski and snowboard experiences year-round and indoors. Get in advanced g-force turns or learn to carve on our fully interactive, worldwide VR resort slopes. Gather in the rustic Lodge over a glass of Skier Pee adult lemonade, expertly crafted cocktails, ski town beers and healthy bites to ring the cowbells for skiers and snowboarders. Book a lesson with our ski instructors to learn proper downhill biomechanics, race against friends in competitive league settings, go for a personal best or just enjoy drinks and food with friends in the Lemon Lodge.”
