Here’s some wild footage from Tuckerman’s Ravine, as a snowboarder on Saturday fell into a snow hole below the waterfall. A video posted by Austin Hart shows the whole situation, as he stumbled around the waterfall and into the hole. The snow has been melting fast due to a warm front over the past couple of days, which probably led to the formation of the huge glide crack.

He somehow was able to get out of there thanks to him carrying an ice axe and was then treated for hypothermia. Luckily, it sounds like he’s going to be fine.
