California has seen enormous snowfall over the past couple of weeks, leading to some sketchy situations for homeowners, and great powder days for skiers.

This webcam footage from YouTuber Grant Earl shows how difficult the snow has been to mitigate. He lives in Lake Arrowhead, which is nestled in the San Bernardino Mountains. Grant estimates that the snow shown in the video is at least seven feet deep, with over six feet of snow falling during the timelapse.

I reached out to Grant, and luckily he isn’t at the house at the moment. He’s been able to record the snowfall from a doorbell webcam and sent me a photo (pictured above) of the current situation at his property. Four houses around his property have seen fires over the past couple of days, as the snowfall has been too much much to handle for homeowners.
