Two firefighters are very lucky to be alive after their plane crashed in the Australian brush earlier this week.

The pilots were flying a Boeing 737 equipped with water bombing capabilities when they crashed horizontally.

The crash is still being investigated, but experts are speculating that the pilots clipped a ridgeline before crashing.
