Marmots, affectionally known by some as ‘whistle pigs’ thanks to their high-pitch scream, are fairly common in most mountain settings.

They’re technically ground squirrels, a type of rodent, and hibernate throughout the winter.

The video below shows a marmot investigating a GoPro set up for a timelapse in Glacier National Park.

This particular whistle pig doesn’t seem to be the sharpest tool in the shed, watch as he licks the camera (for whatever reason?) 😂
