If you’re looking to do some snowcat skiing in Colorado, take a look at Loveland Ski Area. Loveland, which is directly located off I-70, has opened a new Chair 6 and launched a brand-new snowcat tour.

Last week, Loveland launched a new guided snowcat operation, which covers 580 acres of skiable terrain. The tour runs on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and will last through April. The terrain is to the east of Dry Gulch, with a mix of open bowl and tree skiing. A single seat for a day costs $395, while an entire cat for a day (12 seats) is $4500.

If you’re looking for a free snowcat ride, they’re opening up their Ridge Cat today. This is located off Chair 9 and accesses the Field of Dreams, Velvet Hammer, Tickler, 13,010, and Marmot trails. To access the free snowcat tour, all you’ll need is either a lift ticket or a season pass.

So if you’re looking to do some affordable cat-skiing in Colorado, head over to Loveland.
