A lack of snow in Germany has led to yet another cancellation in the FIS Alpine World Cup, according to the Washington Post. The men’s downhill and giant slalom races scheduled for January 28-29 were set to take place on the Kandahar slope in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, but are now set to be replaced.

A men’s World Cup slalom race was successfully held at Garmisch-Partenkirchen earlier this month, though the competition was held on a rather narrow strip of artificial snow. Norway’s Henrik Kristoffersen took first place in that race, with Austria’s Manuel Feller in second and France’s Clement Noel taking third.
